Motorola has unveiled two new smartphone Motorola Photon 4G and Triumph. The Motorola Photon 4G is the sprint 4G device, perfect for business and personal needs. The Motorola Triumph is first android phone for Virgin Mobile and best pre-paid smartphone ever. Both the phones will be running on 1GHz processor.
The Motorola Photon 4G is running on Android 4.3 gingerbread powered by dual core 1 GHz NVIDIA tegra2 processor. It sports 4.3 inches touch screen display along with 8 megapixel camera along with dual LED flash and VGA front face camera for video chatting and video calling. There is 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB MicroSD card. Other features include WIMAX connectivity, GSM capabilities, Mobile Hotspot support, Sprint ID, 1700 mAh battery.
Some of the other outstanding features are its Worldphone capabilities to access emails and scheduler for updating calendar. Moreover, Microsoft Office documents can be accessed using the cloud based web applications. It can be used on Sprint’s 4G/3G network and overseas. There are advanced security precautions like data encryption and the device memory can be wiped remotely.
There will also be few accessories available at the launch like car dock or HD multimedia dock. A webtop application like Atrix 4G will also be featured by Photon 4G for the accessories.
The Motorola Triumph is also powered by 1GHz processor with 5 megapixel camera. It features 4.1 inches WVGA display, Virgin mobile live 2.0 and HDMI output. Virgin Mobile Live 2.0 is a social networking music application that is preloaded in advance. Some of the pre-loaded applications are for personal use and social networking like Facebook, YouTube and Google Talk. There is VGA front facing camera for video chatting and video calling along with video recorder(720p).
Availability:
Motorola Photon 4G will be available soon and Motorola Triumph is expected to be released in July. One can get it from Virgin Mobile USA and oteh outlets.
