Feedburner subscriber count can be hacked! Yes the simple hack shown by TheNextWeb guy Joop Dorresteijn, can increase your feedburner subscriber count to any value you want.

Actually this hack is applied on some RSS aggregators like NetVibes. Using a OPML file you can add any number of lines in this file with your blog RSS subscription link. Each line will be considered as one subscriber. Feedburner is simply adding all RSS aggregator count to show on feedburner chicklet. So whatever number coming from NetVibes is simply added in total number of subscribers thus increasing the number of subscribers to any number you want!

Hope NetVibes or Feedburner will soon fix this issue. And remember the subscriber count shown by all sites/blogs is not true.  So beware of subscribing to any blog looking at the subscriber count.
