LG has launched another Android powered handset which is a slab style model. LG Optimus Pro is equipped with 2.8 inch QVGA display (320*240 pixels) mainly due to the form factor of this model and comes with a front facing QWERTY keyboard, edge and quad band.
There has been no information on the internal processor so far but it is likely to be a powerful one. The specifications will be mostly similar to the Optimus One.
It is packed with 3 megapixel camera with Digital Zoom along with the support for video recording. This device is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The battery is Li-ion 1500mAh and includes all the basic features like GPS, WIFI, bluetooth, push mail, Office tools and many others. It will be operating at a frequency of GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. Music formats that are supported are AMR, AAC, AAC+, MP3 along with H.264/MPEG4 and 3.5 mm Audio jack.
This model might lore Blackberry users who have been considering to switch to Android phone and it will also compete with Galaxy Pro by Samsung which falls in the similar price range.
The phone will comes with battery charger, earphone, USB cable, user manual and warranty card.
