Sony, a giant in laptop maker is all set to launch an ultra-portable laptop under VAIO brand. It has been announced in the European market. The new Sony VAIO Z21 comes with 13.1 inch screen running on Intel’s Huron River platform. It is the successor to VAIO Z11 which was launched last year.
The Sony VAIO Z21 has 2nd generation Intel core i5 or core i7 processor running on Windows 7 professional. It features 13.1 inch LED backlit display, 128GB or 256GB SSD and 4GB or 8GB DDR3 memory along with integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics.
Other features are dedicated NVIDIA graphics, backlit keyboard with touch pad, gigabit LAN, WIFI, 3G, Bluetooth, HD webcam with Exmor imaging technology by SONY, fingerprint reader, HDMI, 1 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0. There is 6 cell Li-ion battery.
Sony VAIO Z21 has both style and substance that weighs only 1.5 kg. But this lightweight and ultra-portable notebook might be pushed down with other notebooks dominating the market like MacBook Air as the rumor has it that VAIO Z series will not be available in US markets for several months.

Sony VAIO Z21 will be available in the range of $2,640 and $4,140.
Sony VAIO Z21 Price in India:
Sony VAIO Z21 has not been released in India and will be priced more than Rs. 1,00,000.
