Not much is known about HTC Vigor and speculations are out by many retailers and tech geeks. The features of the device are not confirmed yet.
HTC Vigor Specifications:
However, HTC has announced few specifications of the phone. It will be working on both 2G Network (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) and 3G Network (HSDPA). HTC Vigor comes with 4.3 inch HD display along with 16M colors and 1280*720 resolution, a higher end display compared to qHd displays. It is powered by 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and running on Android 2.3.4. It boasts of integrated Beats technology as well.
HTC Vigor is said to sport 8 megapixel rear facing camera, 2 megapixel front facing camera and also HTC Sense 3.5 UI. Camera has features like geo-tagging, dual LED flash, image stabilization, touch focus, face detection, auto focus and instant capture.
It also features 1GB RAM and the phone is also capable of supporting 32GB microSD memory card. The size and shape of the phone is similar to HTC Thunderbolt excluding the kickstand.
Some of the other features are multi-touch input method, proximity sensor for auto turn off, accelerometer sensor for UI auto rotate, gyro sensor, digital compass, document viewer, push email, GPS and also supports java applications with the help of Java MIDP emulator.
All type of connectivity features are included namely WIFI, GPRS, Bluetooth, EDGE, 3G and microUSB v2.0. Like other devices, social networking features are included such as Google Talk, Picasa, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail, Google search, YouTube, etc.
It is said to run on Verizon network but rest of the details will come out soon.
HTC Vigor Release Date:
The release date of HTC Vigor has not been announced officially. The availability and pricing details are also not released. The device is expected to hit in October.
