By the time you must have heard about Google chrome. This is being discussed so much in blogosphere that this site is down now :(

Yes, Google announced that they will be launching beta version of Google chrome web browser - Gbrowser tomorrow in more than 100 countries. It’s said to be more than just a web browser.

This is a big step from Google directly on Microsoft IE and Firefox. Mainly at Microsoft. And yes, Google is becoming next Microsoft now.

It’s only a tool to run the important stuff — the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. This Google chrome browser is built on JavaScript engine, v8, to power next generation of web applications.

Surprisingly Google is launching chrome on windows platform first and currently working hard to support it on Mac and Linux. Chrome is a open source project and will be made available for all web developers to play with it.
