Friday 27 June 08 was the Bill Gates last day at Microsoft.  Microsoft co-founder will be focusing on running Bill and Melinda foundation fighting against poverty, diseases and working for improving education around the world.

In 1975 he teamed up with Paul Allen to start Microsoft in a garage, which became  a world software giant.

In his farewell chat with 800 Microsoft employees picked by lottery  Gates told  “My life’s work really is about software and working with incredible people,”.
