Google has launched two new laptops running on Chrome OS named as “Chromebooks” and looks like it is ready to take over the world with their in-the-cloud OS. The new machines are the Samsung Series 5 and the Acer Chromebook with a web-based Operating System that can be connected to the Internet with loads of free applications and a quick browser.

The new Google Acer Chromebook netbook comes with a 11.6 inch display, is a simple, faster, lightweight computing device. It is powered by an Intel Atom N570 processor which is supported by 2GB RAM.

It features security built-in automatically, boots in 10 seconds and resumes instantly from sleep with Intel Atom N570 CPU, 16GB SDD, two USB ports, 6.5 hour battery life, 8 seconds HD webcam with noise canceling microphone, stereo speakers, oversize fully-clickable trackpad, full-size chrome keyboard, and HDMI port. With the Adobe Flash support, websites load quickly and run very smoothly. There is also an optional 3G with dual-band Wi-Fi.

Google Acer Chromebook is just another 11-inch Netbook with 16GB SSD drive and Chorme OS. The storage space is less and it seems like there is no SSD Card slot. The promising long battery life and instant-on in the Chromebook will be overwhelming. It is cheaper than Samsung Series 5 but

Acer Chromebook will be on sale from June 15, 2011, and it will be priced around $349, for the WIFI only version. It will be launched in the US and will be available from BestBuy.com and Amazon.com
